1. Verify and clean your list to avoid bounces
2. Use a tool like Instantly
3. Gauge the amount of emails you'll need to send 500k emails in 1 week (if that is the timeframe you need)
4. A safe sending amount per email is about 30 emails a day, with 2 emails per domain.
If the sending hours/schedule is not of concern to only do daytime then:
The calculation is 500000 / 7 = 71428 emails a day
71428 / 30 = 2380 email accounts
2 email accounts per domain = 1190 domains
Lets put the average domain pricing at $7 for the sake of the exercise
Thats $8330 in domain costs, If you are using Google Workspace then thats about $6 per domain as well ($7140), so total for domains + emails goes to $15470
Now you will need a software like instantly, to upload 500k contacts you will need their entreprise plan which has no public pricing, the closest plan to it is with 100k uploaded contacts and thats $286.3 a month.
You'll also be needing about 2 weeks to warm up every email account, to make sure the emails dont reach spam folder. I think this is included in the instantly plan.
This is without calculating the costs of time to purchase domains, time to set up the accounts, etc.

Idk man, feels like you should reevaulate the timeframe on this project. You could also go riskier and send 60-80 emails a day, this will more than halve the budget needed but why not just increase the timeframe?
Unless you've got a self service product or affiliate offer, you're going to have to spend time responding to each reply you get as well.

Wow that’s a lot.. hmm, I think I would start with the quality of emails are there in your list.. 500k is a huge number and you might want to consider to send it slowly until you reach your desired number.. I’ve done email marketing in the past and it's really hard if you don't know where to start and how to do the system.
@melissaarcaro44 Which bulk mail sender are you using. Can you suggest me an low cost bulk email sender.

maybe this can be achievable if you use multiple SMTPs rather than just one but is going to get expensive

Really depends. Theoretically it would be ok. You would need to configure and warm up your emails, otherwise you are likely to be marked as spam.
Obligatory: SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and then you start to enter on IP Reputation, Rate Limiting, etc.
