TikTok + giffgaff

Today I got a free sim from giffgaff and setup my iphone 7 plus based on things I learned from here. I did

First turn off location service
Turn off weather
turn off automatic time set and put london time
set language and region to United Kingdom
Set calender time zone override to London

And Last I put giffgaff sim while phone off. after turned on i got a message from one of my local carier says " Hutch welcomes you to Sri Lanka!."

Now i see hutch name base near signal towers.

1) How the hell this happended?.
2) If i connect my already made uk based TikTok account to this phone is it gonna detect my location through above scenario.

The sim method would assume that you are UK citizen who is traveling in sri lanka and gives you FYP of UK, however I think they patched this trick and you need a good proxy now, its gotten very very hard now
