IPQS is a tool used for evaluating IP addresses and preventing fraud, popular in affiliate marketing. However, does it truly enhance campaign protection or is it merely a tool that restricts traffic?

For me it does a good job of weeding out the proxy/VPN users for apps where I get a lot of spam signups or account farming attempts. Whether it works to protect your campaigns will be up to your use case - if you get a lot of business from users using proxies/VPN to access your product, you don't need it.

I often use the IPQS tool to check the fraud score, but many times, even when the fraud score is high, I still close the deal and receive full payment.

It is a pretty good service. The problems are:
1. It is very over priced.
2. It has a high false positive rate.

Also you can tweak many settings to get it tuned to your needs.

Thank you, I find the support team quite slow when I ask =))

I want this post to resurface to gain more experience and knowledge

Very interested, especially as I just joined reddit to help boost my brand.
