Hey there! We are Europe based company and we're selling refurbished iPhones. We want to sell them in India, however, this market is completely new to us and we don't know how to start there.

We do have an eshop, however, we're not sure about the right payment methods. Which payment methods should we use when starting to sell in India? Do they pay with PayPal/Credit cards or they prefer something else?

Honestly, I think they prefer COD (cash on delivery)

80% People from India will always choose COD over prepaid payments.

Razorpay would fit your needs if you can get approved.

People in India prefer UPI payments and COD, so you would need an Indian payment gateway like Razorpay. In addition to payments, you would need to take care of GST and all other things to serve Indian customers.

There are many options to sell in India like PayPal.. etc. You can use any option you want for payment.

Dm me, I'm interested to see your prices, I'm also EU based.

You can signup for Indian Payment Gateway that should work. Otherwise, only a few people will enter their credit cards on unknown websites.

Also, there are custom rules for cross-border items. That is another headache that people don't want to buy from other countries.

Best would be to open a local hub in India and start selling from here itself if its feasible.
