Hi everyone .Can someone please tell me how to run ads on this platform? I am a new user.

On Reddit you typically want to advertise by posting your content, boosting with upvotes etc. Not by buying ads directly.

Would you like to run reddit ads campaign or do you want to earn by advertising your products with your own reddit accounts?

Do you think ads might work if they are "cheap" and super targeted? For instance, I'm starting a Michigan insurance news website, and I was going to advertise my subreddit itself /r/michiganinsurance, and advertise it as sort of a knowledge base, usually with a summary of the article on the website, with the link to the article at the bottom. Yeah, the idea is to educate but ultimately acts as a DRIP to my website and hopefully someday, a quote request.

You run Reddit ads like on any other social media site.
  1. Set up an advertiser account.
  2. Top it up.
  3. Set up tracking.
  4. Set your targeting and creatives.
  5. Run your ads.

I just want to promote my services so that more people know about it

Their product censorship policies are quite strict, but do it yourself, you just need to add a card and can run up to the $10 threshold for the first payment.

access Reddit Ads Platform, create a campaign, create your Ads, monitor and optimize

My experience.

1. set up your first campaign To get started, log in to Reddit's Campaign Manager tool . You will need: a reddit account Ad copy (headline)
2.Choose your audience Carrying on to this point, you should create marketing personas. Considering the target audience, Reddit ads allow you to narrow down your search using several parameters: Interests Location
3.Set Budget You can set a maximum daily budget or a total campaign budget. Reddit ads are priced on a cost-per-thousand-displays (CPM) basis, which means that you pay X amount of money for every 1,000 displays. It's important to note that Reddit self-serve ads are valid in the second price auction. The highest bid from the target audience wins, but the price paid is the second highest bid plus $0.01.
4. choose your ad material At this point, you're ready to create and submit your ad for approval. Here are the final steps in creating your ad: Choose the type of ad - choose between a link ad or a text ad. You can also choose to enable comments for the ad
