I use wprobot a little differently, i have a nice landing page on the domain and a blog on the subdomain... its getting very little traffic but it seems to help out the main page a lot.

Have you tried adding Twitter to the mix with WP Robot?

I use WP Robot for most of my blogs and haven't had a problem with Adsense yet.

I've set up 40+ autoblogs with wp robot as the main autoblog plugin. WP robot rocks and I'm now concentrating on traffic.

Each autoblog seems to start making money in the 3rd month. Now several are clicking along nicely.

Keep with the updates
Don't post too close together once set up (I post about 1 year's content when I set it ups)
Use an A**load of keywords.
Post every 6 hours

In WP robot you can backdate and post in bulk. (EG Post 1000 posts dated between last year and this year)

I mix it in with reviewazon.

I like the way reviewazon's post and reviews look, and so far, all my sales have been from reviewazon over WP Robot...

Nabbed ~1000 homepage visits in the first month with my first WP-Robot setup.

My focus was using WP-Robot in combination with auto submit plugins to put my link building on auto.
Grabbed a 4th rank position on my keyword within the first week.

All about the plugins.

Here's what I did:
- Set up a product review page as the WP homepage
- Create a page called "Info Hub" feeding related authority blog posts
- Changed permalink structure to "/%category%/%postname%/"\
- Installed, setup All-In-One SEO plugin
- Search Google for ping list, paste this into your WP
- Install Max Blog Ping Optimizer (puts a cap on pings & keeps you from getting banned from the ping sites)
- Install Web Traffic Genius plugin (auto-submits each post to RSS aggregators)
- Install Deep Link Engine (automatic trackbacks)

Gonna throw Auto Social Poster into the mix soon too & track results.
Also thinking about auto tweeting my blog feed - might catch some viral retweets & traffic

i am using wp robot in baby plan hostgator in januari 2010, and i host 8 domain and 3 sub domain. so far, i earn from amazon $83 until this day, clickbank 0 and ebay 0 because i do not have account in ebay publisher.

and from adsense? i am no luck until last march 14 my account in adsense got banned so i am not earn adsense anymore. and from affiliate that i add in those blogs, i earn nothing.

for me, its better we put amazon product and add some article in that blogs so the chance for people visit and then buying more big.

I just set WP-Robot to aggregate and auto-post entries from guys I think have solid content. They all get filed under a page called Info Hub.

Advantage: Domain backlinks get built 1 layer deep behind the scenes while adding value & useful content to the website as a whole.

Do you guys bother to add a spinner in the mix like wpunique etc? I guess with twitter only traffic you don't care about unique content and the added readibility helps with conversion ratio. However, if you want the search engine ranking as well...

Question on wp-robot and amazon: I find that I am getting several thousand clicks but no conversions. Is it counting every time it pulls content, or checks for content. Because I know that the less than 100 people I am getting to my autoblog are not clicking on amazon over ten times each...

So, that can only mean that WP-robot is causing a click to happen either when it posts, or when it checks for content...

And some of the numbers that others have posted in this thread lead me to think the same thing. Are everyone's other statistics, like unique visitors making sense for the number of clicks you are recording in wp-robot?

Anyone else have any ideas on this?

I roll with shezboy when it comes to that plug-in, and yes if you implement WP-Robot with the correct tools and blog setup you will rock.

I can only speak for myself but I'm doing quite well....still learning how to further exploit it's features but shez is the man with this.

I think the robot that goes out and retrieves the product gets counted, but that should not have such a dramatic impact.

How do people get on your site? When you get backlinks, are they to your thread or is part of your thread included with the Amazon link in it? It could account for the inflated views.

Another wild idea, which happened to me, is that someone is using wp-o-matic on your blog and very untargeted people are finding themselves on the product page with your link.

I have been using wp robot now for about 4 - 5 months and have only made one sell off of my site. I feel like I have it setup pretty good, but some constructive criticism might be useful.

My site is about Modems and Routers...

Depends on the software you are using. If your autoblogging plugin is able to synonymize the syndicating content on the fly and you have a good manually-created synonym table and a quantum of creativity, you won't be hit by Google.

I'd say more, you will be getting much more traffic because many of your competitors will be knocked out by Panda because of their poor splogs with the same duplicated content.
