What's the best tool for checking backlinks?

What do people use for bulk-checking backlinks delivered in excel files, something I can provide a list with URL for it to validate that a link exists on said page without having to manually check all the links to see if my link is active.
Does anyone have recommendations to do this as efficiently as possible? Sorry if this has already been asked.

you can create a python script to do the work,
it's pretty easy to do and could work by loading a bunch of urls to scrape & urls to check as well,
as well as checking for the website robots.txt, nofollow, etc... could save all the required data in an excel sheet,

a safer approach would be to use selenium & uc to avoid being blocked & some decent proxies if you got too many urls,
you can use ai to create the script and it would be done in a few minutes ^^

i think screaming frog is a powerful SEO tool that can crawl websites and extract various types of data including backlinks. just open screaming frog and go to Configuration > Custom > Search then add your backlink URL as the custom search, upload your list of URLs and start the crawl and it will show if the backlink is present on each URL.
