our site has disappeared from the targeted keywords overnight

Our website utilized high-quality backlinks in a niche with diversified profiles and keyword traffic. We maintained positions 2-5 for the targeted keywords for four months. However, in our country, some keywords have suddenly been dominated by parasite pages, possibly due to a Google update, and our site has disappeared from the targeted keywords overnight. Can you speculate on the reasons behind this?

When you say disappeared, what do you actually mean? You answered your own question in that the March Google update did exactly what you said to the serps. There is a new update currently rolling out this week as well.

When did you lose rankings?
What are your current rankings?
Did you use AI generated content?
 
My website's target keywords have lost rankings. It dropped from 3rd place two days ago to 30th place, and yesterday the keyword disappeared completely.

I was aware of the spam update on the 20th, but I thought there wouldn't be any issues since my site only used high-quality backlinks.

I'm currently working on backlinks, but I doubt if it will be restored. It's very stressful.
 
....I thought I built better links than the parent site.

When something like this happens, it gives me a lot of thought. Does anyone have this experience??

It seems that Google values blackhat methods more than whitehat!!!
 
I have same thing going on in some countries. One day keyword is in top 20 ,on e day is out if top 100. I guess we need to wait untill the end of the update
 
maybe bcs of google algorithm update or parasite SEO, backlink profile changes or negative SEO
 
OP you got hit.....you have 20% chance to recover but it will take at least 6-12 months if you do it right...PM me your website I'm curious what you consider quality links and possibly I will give yousome ideas to fix your rankings.
 
This is a clear case of an update hit. Cannot understand more unless more information about the site is provided.
