Hi,
This is my first contribution. Hope it goes well.
Inspired by ShezBlogging thread in this forum, I have created a script and database to get 2000+ followers in a span of time that keeps or twitter accounts under Radar.
Here goes the story:
Requirements:
Windows Xp (Tested on Professional SP3)
Firefox (Tested on 3.5.9)
iMacros for Firefox (Uses 6.6.5) (Link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3863/)
Microsoft Excel (Tested on 2003)
1. Download the iMacros plugin in Firefox and install it (the process is automatic)
2. Now create a folder "Twitter" in "C" drive your harddisk
3. Goto "C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_USERNAME>\My Documents\iMacros\Macros" and paste the "twitter.im" provided
4. Now create an excel file "100.csv" in "C:\Twitter" using Microsoft Excel
5. If your twitter account is new then copy the first 50-55 users from "2000plus.xls" and paste them in first column of "100.csv"
6. Please change the background color of users you just copied in "2000plus.xls" to keep track of users you are following
7. In the second column of "100.csv" use value from "RandomTime" sheet in "2000plus.xls". Copy the number of rows exactly similar to the number of users that you going to follow. You can start from any row
8. Now open Firefox.Login to the twitter account you want to increase the followers for. In the address bar you will see a new icon. Click on that icon
9. In the left side you will find a new toolbar. Its the iMacros plugin
10. Scroll down the bar and you will find "twitter.im" file. Click on it
11. You will have 3 tabs --> Play,Rec, Edit. By default Play is available. You will have 2 buttons Play and Play Loop. In the text box shown above Play Loop enter the number of users you selected (50). Click the Play (Loop) button and relax.Go for a cup of coffee (I prefer)
12. Click the Home tab in the Twitter window. You will see that you have followed 50 people. Soon You will see that the number of people following has increased now
13. Repeat the task day by day for all the accounts in "2000plus.xls"
