After Google's multiple severe core updates, we are all more careful in the process of backlinking. Since ******** backlinks is the #1 off-page technique that can boost your rankings and metrics (da dr ... etc). This prcess may be deemed risky nowadays especially if you build those links very quickly or do-follow percetnage is considreably high.

My question is: do No-Follow backlinks carry same risk or is it considered safer? Can I build no-follow backlinks at faster speed (of course at reasonable rate) without worrying about penalties?

The host site linking out to you is what matters. If you're acquiring links, it would make sense to get DF. NF do have their place though, and if you are getting one from an authoritative source then it is worth it. For example, all Wikipedia links are NF but they contribute to your site's overall authority. That's just one example.

No follow backlinks are good - If they provide you traffic. A Brand Value and a positive marketing. (Safe, Unsafe doesn't matter)

No-follow backlinks are generally safer than do-follow backlinks regarding the risk of penalties, allowing for faster link building without intense scrutiny from search engines.

Mix of both the links will do good for your website. No follow links are less risk for no penalties

Yes, for focusing on only link juice then no-follow links will work out but comes to the metrics , you should go with do-follow links which gives high authority and trust towards the sites.

No follow links pass no authority, and ideally shouldn't pass any penalty. But I think any classification of links could raise red flags if being built too fast. It could signal manipulation of some sorth.

Both are safe and needed if you build them right.

I suppose you could consider them safer in terms of avoiding penalties.

No follow links can be a great asset, especially when you consider them from a PR perspective. For example, Forbes only does Nofollow links, but a link from them can be great given their authority and traffic.

In general, yes, they are safer because they don't affect website promotion too much. But still have a balance in this process, it should look natural.

No-follow links won't pass any link juice. They are just good for diversity and if you get those links from high authority sites you may get some referral traffic. You can mix it with do-follow backlinks for more value.

both of them are good

Usually, no-follows are safer because they don't pass on SEO juices like do-follow links. But it's still important to maintain a natural-looking backlink profile.

Generally No-follow back-links are considered less risky, Google doesn't directly use them for ranking purposes. You can build no-follow back-links at a faster pace than Do-follow back-links, but make sure to prioritize quality of the back-links over quantity.

Though No-follow links will not pass any authority and It is less risky , make sure you don't build it in a faster way at times the no follow links will also be consider as spammy when it is build in larger numbers in a short period of time which results in penalties..

A nofollow link is exactly what it sounds like: a clickable link that does not convey reputation or authority. This is the safest link you can have and poses the least risk to your website.
