Website progression

Recently set up my first website using Wix cause i feel it's better for me to learn seo that way, it's just a listing website containing affiliate links focused on a niche, i plan to populate it with blogs and reviews for those services.

So, this post is just asking the experts what is the general progression that i should aim for, i launched the website on the 4th of june, and this is the progress so far....

I don't have much questions atm, just one which is how long it should take for my other pages to start ranking, cuz right now only 5 pages are indexed, 7 are not, and only 1 page is getting all the impressions as well, the others arent.

Haven't done much backlinking efforts as well, just focusing on on-page seo for now and hoping to start seeing some results in the search console so i can work on optimizing as well.

All tips and thoughts are welcome and very much appreciated

Google index pages time to time, as you said indexed 5 pages and 7 not, it will be indexed soon, however you can do other's work such Quality back-links, Ranking a website and getting traffic is really passionate , focus on updating your website , things will be ok time to time.

the usual stuff: create and SEO the content, then publish it, then index it, then build links to it if it doesn't rank where you want it to. And keep pumping out more optimized content (try a rate of 1 article per day for 1-2 years if you can) and building more links.

At least this is what you would do with your own site. With Wix... well, with parasites in general (since Wix is a parasite) I'm not sure that it's worth wasting your money and time on building links because Wix might delete your content and / or ban your account for any reason, so you'd lose everything. That's why it's better to have your own site, even if it takes more time and more effort to rank it...

But anyway, parasites should index quickly (and rank as fast if the competition is low), so you'll know what to do after your content gets indexed (if it ranks you create more content, if it doesn't rank you throw backlinks at it)

nobody can answer this question accurately. We can only ballpark but even then we would need to know the niche and keywords you're targeting, as well as what type of competition you're up against and also how the SERP look like for your chosen keywords. This last part is especially important since after each google update more and more sites lose their rankings to make room for more monetization options for Google (ads ,AI content, etc)

well, start getting some links to the 5 indexed pages and work towards indexing the 7 non-indexed ones

And if your budget is limited don't waste it on quality links, it's just not worth it for parasites. Just use low quality PBNs, web 2.0s, profile links, etc and hope for the best

Also, wix is a parasite? How do I use it as a parasite? I just meant that I used the wix website builder to create the website and connect it to my domain....

Or are you referring to the free wix sites that wix let's you put up?

You use ai contents?

Yeah, I use ai to generate content, then check if it shows up as ai written, if it does then i edit it a bit

Regardless, the process is always the same:

1) churn out content until you become blue in the face and die
2) optimize the said content with LSI terms / SEO entities
3) index the content
4) build links
5) rank and (hopefully) make money
