Downgrade Ios

wondering if anybody knows of a way to downgrade my iphone 12 pro to atleast 16.5.1 so i can jailbreak or downgrade it to anything below 16.5.1? if anybody knows of a way it would be greatly appreciated.

If you can upgrade you can downgrade.
To downgrade, dl 3utools, get the iOS version you want, follow the steps , that’s it.

How iOS works is they need to be signed (Apple has to approve your software update) once Apple releases a new version (say iOS 18 for example) they will allow people to go to 17.9.9 or iOS 18.0 on factory resets for a short time (but nothing else) then they stop signing the 17.9.9 and it’s just 18.0 going forward. This is how every single update works and why jailbroken/jailbreakable devices fetch a premium online like eBay.

You can either wait for a jailbreak. Buy an older device that can only upgrade to a jailbreakable firmware (iPhone 8’s I think could be tethered jailbroken on their latest firmware the last I checked but things like iPhone 6 and etc would also) or look for a device like yours that an older person or someone that just doesn’t do updates hasn’t updated yet (they are out there on Facebook marketplace)
