I would greatly appreciate any advice or recommendations as I am looking to channel traffic to my non-adult website.

This could work if Adsense doesn't not somehow figure out the traffic are from adult source.

Also, how likely are adult traffic to convert for advertisers om Adsense? Because if you keep getting clicks but advertisers aren't seeing conversions from your site, it's a red flag.

What are your thoughts on directing traffic to a specific website and guaranteeing the transfer of visitors to the designated site?

Are the visitors real human visitors and not bot?

Also, a site that only gets direct traffic is suspicious. Most sites gets a mix of all. But if it's only direct traffic, it feels like bot traffic.

I've never worked with such kind of traffic before so I can't advise on that.

AdSense can't and won't track direct traffic further than one website. And if your link shortener website looks like a legit "Bitly" alternative, you're good to go.
