How do you deal with regrets?

It heals by time. A month ago I was upset over few things and was regretting but it healed. I understood that what i was worrying about was supposed to happen and there was no way it could be avoided. You should work on your future, not on your past which can't be changed.

You learn that as the years go by and the older you get, there is no other explanation, at least in my opinion, that's how it was with me.
Until I went to the army at the age of 21, I was a very emotional person, after that, the army made me a man, especially the part with regretting different things...

when your back aches and you are itching to tell kids to get off your lawn you'll realize regrets are pointless, truly. you cannot change them. we are not time travelers. you can learn from them though. what are you doing today? are you making future regrets? i regret a lot, but what can i do? what are your plans for tomorrow? know & love yourself. take care BHW.

What type of regrets? If you hurt someone you care about it's pretty tough, but if you made some bad business calls, it's part of life.
Even though it feels like a mistake, making this sort of bad calls now if better in the long run because you come with more experience to making better decisions when more is at stake.
Shake it off, dust yourself and keep at it. Create another opportunity.

The buddhist perspective is that being a loser is normal, it's the result of attachments. You will have to cultivate an indifference to losing or else you will be stuck in the cycle of samsara reincarnating again and again till you decide to accept life as is.

You don't have even a remote perspective on being a failure. lol Try failing for the next 20 years in the quest for success. That's how long it takes to achieve anything really worthwhile in a discipline.
I ruined a number of good businesses due to bad management, and ended up locked up in the looney bin and forced on medication like many times, and gone bankrupt.
You certainly won't find me seeking any special treatment because of this or crying about it. If people spent more time doing their best, then even big failures would seem insignificant. The reality is they are too busy worrying about fear of failure like you are.
Means less competition for those of us that work hard to make an honest buck! haha, You should switch allegiances. lol

Regrets? What's good for?! You cannot go back in time to solve them. What it was, it was. At least you achieved something (it's up to you to find what you achieved, cause there is something achieved).
How to not have regrets in the future? Simple: Act. Act, even if you "feel" something it may be wrong. At least, if it may be wrong, you will knew it already. But what if "that" wasn't wrong at all? Act: You can only win.

The hardest but most essential part is acceptance. Every time you start to think about it you have to say to yourself "Yes, that happened. I acknowledge it but I can't change it. Trying to change it is impossible. I forgive myself for my mistake."

Everyone has regrets but there is no point in dwelling on them, learn from them, and then move on. 25 is still very young, people turn their lives around at a much older age as well.
