If I "for now" don't care so much about the shadowban problem that test2 might have caused, but just want to know if I can get the U.S. market in the feed on my European home internet without any proxy/VPN:

1) Is a reset only needed if you have downloaded TikTok before on that phone (with some config junk left) after removing the app? I mean when you installed Tiktok on a european apple-ID and then remove the app, and then reinstall/download (from app store) on a U.S. apple-ID, I can imagine that there might still be some config junk left, or does iOS completely clear that when removing an app?
2) Or is a reset just always needed, if you first/originally installed your iphone with a European apple-ID, even if you never installed TikTok with that appleID, and first tiktok download was from a U.S. Apple-ID (to which you switched your appleID later)?

Via what mechanism can the TikTok app detect that your phone had a different AppleID (&timezone & region) before? If it hasn't been installed? How? Exactly what data is in the phone that it can do that? (if it can)

My case:
- The first/original installation of the phone was by creating a new apple-ID on that phone for a European country, including connecting a European credit card as the payment method. There is still apps on this phone installed with this AppleID. I just made a new AppleID on appleid.apple.com for U.S. with no payment method, and set billing address to U.S.. And then switched appleID on the phone. And then changed settings>language&regon>region & settings>time&date>timezone on the phone to U.S. as well (before even downloading tiktok from the app store)
- I have so much installed, I'll lose a full day for reinstalling/configuring, it would really suck. But yeah, if it makes it work on my European home internet (without proxy) then it makes it worth it.
- I am not doing 20+ accounts, just 1 TikTok account per phone is needed.

Fuck, I just found out about something else, using the account of TEST2 with NordVPN=United States :

tiktok app>settings&privacy>accounts>user information
has 3 sub menus:
>Phone number (left it empty since I used google sign-up, its shows +1 as default if I click it)
>Email (to verify email, which I verified)
>Account region (=UNFORTUNATELY STILL on my European country SOMEHOW!!!)

If I click account region, I can select another country, and if I choose United States, I get this response screen from Tiktok:

To update account region, you need to meet the following requirements:
- You have been in the United States for at least 90 days.

(same response for any other country I try. For example: "You have been in Puerto for at least 90 days". )

I have found that having a jailbroken phone works well. Just need to use fake gps to whatever state you want in the us. Together with a US phone bumber and an IP

- What kind of U.S. IP did you use? mobile proxy? static residential proxy? or something else?

After 12 hours, test2 was still on 2 views on the video.

Did another test on Test2 (which was with NordVPN):
- I delete the video
- I restart TikTok (same test2 account) without VPN
- I upload a new video, and I get 100 views in the first hour.
(so the account itself is not shadowbanned, just the videos uploaded by VPN were shadowbanned)


But the 100 views, if I check them, they come from my European country. Not from the U.S.

- You did not create an account: You mean you used an existing account (from US? from Europe?)? Because how can you get the feed (FYP) if you are not logged in?
- And can you upload a sexy girl video using NordVPN, and see if you get views?

Well you can pretty much skip the wait by using a US eSIM. Most of you guys probably already tried all the eSIMs you could find on Google like Holafly, Airalo etc. I did that too but guess what, those SIMs even tho they said they are "US eSIMs" still had country codes from Europe and I was hitting only French, Dutch or British For Yous.
Then I found out that the problem is that these eSIMs didn't have a US number binded to them because they were all DATA eSims not VOICE eSims.

Anyway, you can use Tello.com to get a US eSIM along with a US number, make sure you select this plan with No data and 100 minutes because it costs only 5$
Don't worry about the 5$/month plan, you can just cancel the plan and your eSIM will still be installed on your phone, Tiktok doesn't care that your plan expired or is canceled.

Also if you have an iPhone, when you factory reset it, Apple will give you the choice to save the eSIM, so basically it will still be installed even after you factory reset. I don't know if this function exists on Android but if you factory reset it you can generate a new QR code for the eSIM installation in your Tello dashboard.

Another alternative is https://www.usmobile.com/ where they offer a trial but the site is a bit bugged at the part where they check your IMEI, it's gonna say a couple of times that your phone is not supported, just keep trying till it works or use https://www.fakepersongenerator.com/imei-generator#imei-apple to get some random IMEIs (some work some don't just keep trying)

Yes, it's enough. You don't even need to use proxies, SIM or eSIM is enough (just make sure the tiktok account is new, if you use your personal account you will still see videos from your country and you should reset the phone before installing the SIM if you previously used a tiktok account on that phone)

Doesn’t matter if you don’t get signal, Tiktok only needs the SIM’s country code and they can read it even if you don’t get signal. Just use the wifi connection along with the ESIM and it should work

I'm desperately trying to get on the USA tiktok.
Here's what I've done so far: btw I'm in Japan.

-Got Nord VPN and set it to the US. Everything else below is done on that VPN .

- Bought 'US' eSIMs from aloSIM and Holafly. Both didn't work and when I created tiktok accounts one said I was from Poland and the other one said Hong Kong. They're apparently where the servers are for each company and since I'm not in the US to activate it, that's where ticktok thinks I am.

- Bought another eSIM with servers in the US, Tello, but now ticktock just doesn't have a region. Which is weird because Tello uses T-Mobile servers from the US.

-Also any videos I upload to this new tiktok account. with Tello gets 0 views. Nothing.

Is my device itself shadow banned? But why does TikTok acknowledge location with aloSIM&Holafly but not Tello? They're all eSIMs?

I attached a screenshot of my tiktok account info where they don't display or recognize my region at all. Weirdly enough I get ads for the US. Or at least they seem like US ads. Whereas for example when I made an account with my Holafly eSIM I was getting Polish ads cuz of their server.

I'm actually desperate at this point. Please help!
