Hello everyone,

I have a TikTok video that's over a minute long. I set it to private shortly after posting because I forgot something, and now it's disqualified. This has used up one of my five slots. Is there any way to remove the disqualification without making the video public? Will deleting it help, or should I contact support?

Thank you!

You have to know first why it's disqualified
is there an appeal option?

Contact support and they will help you quickly resolve the issue

If you hide that video, it will definitely be disqualified. Instead of hiding it, you just leave the video in a mode where other people can see it. This will help you avoid disqualification.

Private videos are disqualified auto. If I set it to public again it won't be disqualified and is auto removed from disqualification, But I don't want the video to be up public

Then you can't make money from it
delete it and edit what you forget then post again

I don't want to earn from that video.

If I delete it altogether, I am worried whether the disqualification will stay (Counted/ 1/5) or not. Right now, I feel like I still have the "safety button" of just making it public again to get rid of the disqualification.

It is 5 disqualifications per month, so I don't want to get my account removed from the program, as I have just joined.

Listen,

1) You need to make the video public (Won't matter cuz that video wont get views anyways).
2) Once is public, you need to appeal, and hopefully will be restored in the next 24-48h or so.
3) If the appeal gets accepted, just delete right after, so you make sure it wont get flagged again. (videos flagged once, have high chance to get flagged again)
4) If the appeal gets rejected, then you have 1/5 strikes. But if you delete without appeal you will have 1/5 anyways, so better try to recover that strike and then delete.
