and 301 redirect the example.net to example.com will that pass any juice?

most of the link juice & authority should pass as long as the redirect is well set,
it might take some time to see the full redirect effect tho, all depending on how often bots crawl the new/old domains

it should be page-to-page redirect, basic domain change,
update wp config & database as well, save permalinks in the options, then clear cache and everything should be fine
