Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone here has tried generating and publishing AI-generated comments on their blog? I've noticed that user-generated content (UGC) is heavily promoted by Google in terms of SEO, and I'm curious if this practice could have a positive or negative impact on search rankings.

For those who have experimented with this, have you noticed any changes in your search engine rankings? Did the AI comments help increase SEO Signal and then traffic ?

I'm really curious to know if this could be an effective strategy to boost my blog's SEO.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Best,

I also opened comments on a financial site just a week ago, with 50 posts to comment on. We did not plan this at the moment but believe that this will help in Google (and with visitors, which again helps in Google)

So far only spam. I am also considering adding some comments on my own to get it going. I guess real visitors are more likely to comment if they aren't the first commenter.

I would however do this manually I think.

Also, to make them look good, and if this is Wordpress, they or some of the commenting people should get an Email-Address registered at Wordpress.com with an avatar image attached to their email address. I am not sure anymore if this done though Wordpress.com or somewhere else, e.g. akismet or Intensedebate

Best,
Of course , the comments section will be workout to your blog site without any doubt. However, when it's comes to the AI generated comments , it has the chance for risk which might be ignored by Google.

Because, AI generated comments easily can be identified by the search engine in a most of the time and it has the difference compared to user written comments.

Well, since the anti-AI update, Google is monitoring content (including comments, I suppose) to be non-generated. So, if you REALLY want to, you can just put some genuine comments by yourself, it would look like and therefore rank much better than countless "thanks for helpful article" or "I solved my problem due to this advise"

The volume of work here is not as terrifying to risk being penalized, IMO

Best,
I wouldn't do it

If you manage to use AI-generated content more effectively than your competitors without getting caught by Google, you might feel like you're winning. But remember, if Google catches on, it could backfire. I actually tried this once with ChatGPT 4 for a crypto article, and it got a thousand organic clicks in just a week!

If you want to earn real money then need to work real work , not based on AI , I never recommend to rely solely on AI

I had tried few months ago to turn on one of my website's comment which was related to facts and statistics about gen z. unfortunatly I had to close the section because of more of spam rather than genuine comments.

While Yes I agree it will help google and visitor beyond the next update, if you guys have any solution to prevent spam. I don;t want to manually track and delete them. the website is in wordpress

In my point of you, AI generative comments has the risk part which can be identified by the Google. So, I would suggest the user-hand written comments for the better reach.
I suggest make it personalise by training AI on your writing style.
