What's the point of having a girlfriend as a young tech dude at his age of 24 and below.
What can a girlfriend offer?
Do you have one?

I just don't see any reason for it, because am not getting married in 2yrs later.

what do y'all think?

Disagree with the above comment. Some women want to settle down early, others don't until later, some never do.

It really depends what you want. Some people like the stability of a relationship, however it will come with lots of constraints (unless you're poly, non-monogamous etc. Even then, these relationship types take a lot of work).

As an early 30s guy, my advice is to enjoy your life as much as possible. For this, being free is very important. You can travel, date, explore, do whatever you want, whenever you want, set yourself up financially and have the life you desire... getting a girlfriend will not stop all of this, but will definitely add a layer of complexity and compromise.

You can develop a deep connection with a girlfriend, but you can also develop great connections with others. Only get a girlfriend if you see something long term, otherwise you're investing your time and energy for nothing. Don't get a girlfriend because you're lonely; go to therapy. If you want sex, learn to date and attract women.

You're young, work on being the best version of yourself, and enjoy the journey.

I'm not really sure why being a "young tech dude" would affect whether someone would want to be in a relationship or not.

I think an issue with a lot of people now is that they feel they need to be 'looking for love', so to speak. Instead of trying to find a partner, I think it makes more sense to look for things you enjoy, like hobbies or interests. If you pursue those, you are more likely to find like-minded people that you enjoy spending time with, and that would be more fulfilling than using dating apps or anything like that.

At the end of the day, you don't have to be social or find companionship if you don't want to, but people are social creatures and tend to benefit from social interactions. I'm not a particularly social person and prefer my solitude, but talking to others every now and then is still good for me, mentally.

Adam was in heaven and still needed a woman.
You are not even in heaven and you doubt whether you need a woman or not?

Don't get too wrapped up in the gender wars and modern neurosis around this, having a stable if not permanent man/woman companionship pairing is a norm of life for the whole of human history in every culture for reason.

Two words : emotional support

yes it's worth it. find you a nerdy woman. maybe even one who can code, is into internet money, etc. marry her and become an unstoppable husband/wife team. everyone deserves love and companionship.
