Hi guys,

I’m about to sign a client for 1k/mo. She initially reached out to help her sell a course for dating targeted towards women. She has 50k followers on instagram and TikTok. And a match making website that does relatively well for SEO.

My strategy was to focus on YouTube content and migrating her social media followers to YouTube to curate her audience and build a stronger following there. Then she can sell anything she wants. Her course, her match making website etc.

The problem is that she’s all over the place. I think her issue is that she needs a manager to manage her content and tell her what she needs to do next. But I have a feeling she won’t get the results she wants (to sell a course because idk who tf would buy a course like that).

My solution is to focus on YouTube and get sponsorships and try making money that way and then do courses or whatever other crazy ideas come up that she has. I just have a feeling it’ll blow up and she won’t be happy.

Should I take this client?

Depends how much bullshit you can tolerate.

Delivering results is one thing, but dealing with a client who's expectations are too high is another.

If you plan on taking her on, make sure you both agree on exactly what the goals are. She needs to uphold her end as much as you do.

just make sure when they sign the contract, their expectations/your goals are clearly defined.
sounds like a mess already to me.

Yeah I have the time and I need the money. I just want to ensure that I can produce results for my portfolio. I’m definitely going to outline expectations in the agreement. I just know I’m going to be putting in more work than 1k is worth lol

Get paid upfront if you can.

And if getting paid full upfront is not possible try to make the payments on weekly basis
