I have been working on facebook market place for last three years, earlier facebook market place was giving good response but now for some time facebook market place is not responding and our listings are not getting views and clicks. Due to the order issue is almost non-existent, I also tried creating a new account, but it didn't help either, then I boosted the listing on Facebook Marketplace, but only clicks and not so many messages. Hey it looks like facebook gave dummy clicks if any one is expert in working facebook market place please give me some advice so that i can increase my sale thanks

There will be major updates from time to time

Why don't you set up a fanpage as a business and run advertising there, I think it will be much more effective, over time you will have regular customers and members.

Try changing the keywords that your ad is using. The images as well, they should stand out from the rest, also make multiple posts using several accounts, this helps due to competition sometimes now in the facebook marketplace. Sometimes there are multiple sellers, and it is difficult to compete if your listing isn't ontop, see what keywords others are using, lower prices to get the top spot, and good descriptions with keywords can help too, also check the location your listing is posted, get it closer to the city you want to appear in the top, sometimes you have to post in multiple cities nearby to gain the reach in different cities due to others posting in that same city. I hope this helps.

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating issue with Facebook Marketplace. A few things to consider:
  1. Algorithm Changes: Facebook frequently updates its algorithms, which might affect the visibility of your listings. Try updating your titles, descriptions, and keywords to align with current trends.
  2. Product Categories: Make sure your items are listed in the most relevant category. Sometimes, being in the wrong category can limit visibility.
  3. Engagement: Encourage interactions on your listings by asking for reviews or feedback from buyers. Engagement can boost visibility in Facebook’s algorithm.
  4. Boosting Strategy: Instead of boosting only, try running targeted ads through Facebook Ads Manager. It gives more control over audience targeting and performance tracking than boosting directly through Marketplace.
  5. Dummy Clicks: If you suspect that the clicks are not genuine, you might want to check the sources of traffic or analyze the data further to see where the clicks are coming from.
  6. Expand Your Presence: Consider cross-posting on other platforms or Facebook groups to increase your reach.
It might also help to reach out to Facebook support directly if you think there's an issue with the platform itself. Keep testing different strategies and optimizing based on performance data!
