Wow, i thought they were big company and never do this to customer. Thank you for sharing this kind of case.
These fucking tricksters, where do i even start.
I tried to "buy now" a domain in auction section, which was aged like 10+ years, 0 drops, good backlink profile, costing relatively low around 40$
I inserted my card info properly. I even received the OTP for payment. And then a payment error came. My payment was never made.
However these tricksters have system setup, as these guys know that these are valuable domains so first lure idiots like us at low price and then show a error or something and quote high price and we will pay coz these domains are simply gold. And when I refreshed my Godaddy dashboard to make the payment again it was simply showing as domain name already taken. Like seriously?
And that "our broker can get that domain on your behalf for NON REFUNDABLE BROKER SERVICE FEES of 65$. Plus they will take 20% commission of whatever the sale price is. Plus I would also OFCOURSE have to pay domain name charges to the seller
Are these guys fucking nuts?
Has someone faced this?
https://www.blackhatworld.com/search/16562528/?q=godaddy+stealing+domains&o=relevanceThese godaddyfokkers biggest fraud crime hosting company in the world!
Ok, you search for domain ideas and not buy it yet- so the registrar /webhosting provider can register it, that is one thing, I say ok it's legit.
But now here comes the crime, when you not buy the domain and the registrar takes it + and listed that domain now as a premium price this is a whole different fraud thing....here comes my story.....
Look last month I done domain ideas research to find cheap com domains, (now I use tld list) and here I not type the domain name I want no, I type in a fantasy name here in this example myblabber.com to check domain prices and promo deals.
Guess what ? Now here comes the big hammer: check it on godaddy uk site they listed this weird name myblabber.com domain for £3.800 GBP !
I'm speachless, this is crime.......
I mean you do domain price research with weird fantasy names to avoid that the registrar steals your domain idea and they take a weird silly name and list it with premium price, uffff......that is hefty....
Happy sunday blessing to all !
and they have silly policies who not have much to do with the government law ..... they act like the state, the police...I wonder today is USA become a banana republic? The same with us in EU....godaddy is biggest scammers in the hosting and domain industry also they charge lots of money from people who dont have proper knowldge about hosting.
yes bro im from india i made an ecommerce website for one my client they want me to buy domain from godaddy after 1 year they forgot to renew domain and domain went for grace period they are asking my client to pay 6000 inr (more than 60$) fee + renewal price. it was cheap .in domain.and they have silly policies who not have much to do with the government law ..... they act like the state, the police...I wonder today is USA become a banana republic? The same with us in EU....
Hmmm it's not banana republic laws it's feudal laws, the biggest richest companies have rights- we not.

That's feudalism or something....go daddy is such a marketing behemoth. They do offer plenty of service but don't care one fks about the customer. they'll find more.
