Not sure if this was posted yet: https://developers.google.com/searc...ng-does-it-take-to-recover-from-a-core-update
According to the article above one probably has to wait at least until the next core update (within 1 to 4 months?) to possibly recover. Bigger issues may even take several core updates.
I am hoping for a decent, at least partial recovery at the next update. Here is what I am currently doing:
- Replace AI images with non-AI looking AI images. We keep using AI images as we got hit with a photographer demanding money for an image, he kinda tricked us and we paid up. But don't want to use stock photos at this time.
- Edit Text: Remove lengthy parts, add facts, tables, calculations. <-- hate this, lot of work and I am not 100% convinced of the "helpful content" issue, seems to be more backlink related (=EEAT) IMHO
- Change existing keyword backlinks to naked URLs and generic terms "click here"
- Get new links without keywords
- Get Brand mentioned without links
Generally much more branding, far less keywords.
