Is my conversion rate too high?

YES, I've done many searches, but never found a definitive answer.

I'm promoting a zip submit and the first few days I was getting a 25% conversion rate. I know - WAY too high. So I've been throwing some junk traffic at it, and it has gone down to around 10%.

A few questions for the experts;

1. Do CPA companies think 10% is too high? If so, what should my target conversion rate be?

2. The junk traffic has been from adult sites. Do CPAs really care where it's coming from?

3. On my good links, I am cloaking my link thru prosper. Also, I am hiding the referrer with BHCB. Is this similar to blanking the referrer?
Can they tell that all my sales are coming from my links and not the adult links?

JODYBERRY - when you throw fake traffic at your offer...do you have the fake traffic click on your cpa offer link, and then they just dont convert? (im guessing the answer is yes but i am not sure). Do you want to PM which company you use for fake traffic? Thanks!

The EPC for my offer is .08 , i'm getting about .38 legit, even jumped up to .42 once. I haven't ever had problems,

I'm sure a couple people get more then that.

Yeah, i use to have around 0.23 - 0.30$ EPC normally.
Some days are shit and 0.08$ EPC. ..

naw 10% is fine. Infact with a targeted list you should be doing higher than that, and that would be white hat numbers.

Right now mine is sitting at 0.42. But it's a slow day - I think it'll go down!!

I got pleanty of calls from mine, they were happy... all depends how good your leads are I guess...

but that means ill probably get called right now asking wtf my traffics so low since CL is giving me grey hairs lately.
