Best traffic source for limited budget

I have around $2,000 I’m looking to use for paid advertising to promote affiliate products. This budget is dedicated purely to running paid ads and outsourcing the ad creatives.

The question is what is the best traffic source for a limited budget?
FB or tik tok?

I plan on using grey hat marketing techniques but not completely black hat to reduce the risks of account bans.

The ideal way is to promote the offers where you can find your customers. If you promote affiliate products in a different market segment, there won't be any sales. Most people in this forum don't know about your product, so they'll give you random suggestions. If your target audience don't exist on a platform, you'll end up losing money. Another way is to do split testing with small amounts to see which platform converts well.

What are your affiliate marketing products typically? If normal products do not violate the policy then you should use tiktok. If you violate the policy a lot like Gambling or Casino, you should use Facebook.

Do you know any good guides specifically for advertising on tiktok, IG, FB, etc.? I've looked on here and can't find anything.
