I can only find links for downloading the new ChatGPT 4o for Mac.
Is it not available yet for PC (Windows)?
If it does, where can I find the link to download it?

I believe they stated that the Windows version wouldn't be available until later this year. For now, its Mac only. I have the Mac version and as of right now, its really no different than using Chat GPT in the browser. The cool features they showed off in the presentation aren't available yet (at least not on my side). You aren't really missing anything.

How to download it on Mac? Any official website? Or App store?

The way it happened for me was via a pop-up in the browser that showed up when I was using ChatGPT. I believe I had ChatGPT open in a browser tab, and I stepped away from the computer for a while (a few hours at least). When I came back, the message to download the app was there. It looks like this:

There was a download link for it going around on X a while back, but even if you download it and install it, you won't necessarily be able to connect unless your account has access. It will give you an error. It seems like they're slowly rolling it out.

You can use it on the website, just log in, no need for an app really.

Though, a good free platform for any OS is Opera web browser(like not on the chatgpt website, it has it's own GPT UI).

GPT plugin is included, nothing to install. Great UI for any operating system(and I like opera better than the chatgpt website because on the site, pressing enter sends the prompt, buy on opera, you can press enter just to make more line breaks which I prefer, small detail but better imo).

Are voice conversations working in the app?

I use it occasionally on windows, on the official site, but it becomes available to me because I pay chatgpt 4. The last time I tried it it didn't work many of its functionalities, I have to re-test

The way I've been using it is, I went on Microsoft Edge (yes I know Edge sucks but it works great for this), logged into chat.openai.com, then clicked the 3 dot menu, apps, install as app. It works 100% just like the website (since it's a custom web app) and I can float it around and dock it to the right side of my screen for all day access. Good work around until we get an official PC app.
