FB phone verification code not arriving in my phone?

I tried doing Facebook phone verification using my own phone,but the code is not arriving it.Is anyone out there who is facing the same issue?

I am in the US,but I am not getting any verification code from them.The problem is I am giving different location than the one where my phone is registered.
Will that be the reason why I am not getting any verification code?

How did you get it verified automatically, tho you never verified it? Is there any phone number in your account? Sounds interesting.

no phone number, just login to your account daily and post something, make pages, add friends, and fill in the captcha...

now : no captcha everytime i add friends.

i guess if you fill captcha, fb will count you as a regular member/acc and verify your acc

It is not verified, if you can't find any phone number in the account. Sometimes, the acceptance ratio of friend requests is high enough, facebook won't ask for captchas any more.

whn u use facebook as a normal (real ) account , daily usage of account will not ask captha after some days.. but u cant create apps with it..

only thing is u can add friends , u can like pages without captha
