i started YouTube channel NEED ADVICE

so it all started last month when i was listening to the song "the wonder of you" on YouTube and the videos kept moving video after video until i found myself in some "lady gaga song" but from random YouTube channel with anime profile pic. the video has over 1.7 million views
then it clicked
post song + thumbnail from anime/tv show related to the song
what could go wrong ?
copyright ofc
i said a'll just try it and see what happen
1 video 300 views
2 video 15 views
3 video 30k
no copyright at all
i was so happy because this shit took me 10 minutes to make
then any other video i posted couldn't pass 50 views. (posted 7) then i realized its all an SEO battle for the first ranking video when searching the song
my questions are :
any YouTube SEO ADVICE ??
YouTube general ADVICE ??
what do you think of this niche did i find gold mine or just pure luck ???

Maybe people was seaching for those song because a trends on tiktok or instagram? I can't help falling in love with you of Elvis got viral for a time on Instagram people was putting that song on every video with cats, dogs, relationship, frienship and people went to search for it on google also could be the niche is so saturated that those songs you are uploading are hidding in a bg wall of other channels uploading the same content.

How the hell do you make money from it though is my question. Everyone wants traffic no one seems to ever have a plan to monetize said traffic. I can't imagine youtube paying for this kind of content in 2024 and if they do it probably won't last very long.
