Did you use bot or software services to gain followers?

Usually, if you gained followers this way, Twitter's algorithm will find and delete those accounts.

These followers are non-drop until a major platform update.

The best service is typically based on real people, like a community. These services usually aren't affected by updates.

However, software and bots only work until the platform updates.

No. I don't follow anybody. I have over 3 million followers so maybe someone was mass following me with the thinking their accounts would be seen.

Did you use any bots? I work with several clients but haven't seen anyone's follower drop in recent. Could be a platform update though

If I check my followers on Twitter and refresh an hour later, I've had a jump in new followers. The follower who was top, is now further down the list with new followers above.

So I know that people are following - it's just a big bunch is cleaned out once a day in one big go. Which to me suggests a lot of accounts are being deleted.
