I am testing with trafic through backlinks, and I noticed that whenever I check stats on my hosting panel (awstats), or live through tawk.to , for mobile traffic it doesnt show referrer. Is it cause of security of OS, referer traffic on mobile is not shared ? Or what could be the reason>? THX

https://www.google.com/search?q=ios+hiding+referer& looks like answer is yes if IOS visitors are navigating via safari.
however it's strange because i can't find anything about android having the same security policy, and it's unlikely 100% of your mobile traffic is IOS. probably something else going on.

probably the same relates to android, Look at this:

A lot of times, mobile browsers and apps don’t pass referrer info due to security and privacy settings. Plus, many mobile users are on HTTPS, and if your site is HTTP, the referrer data can get lost in the process. Try using UTM parameters in your URLs to track the source more effectively.
