How to get US number to make calls?

Hey guys, i'm located in Europe, but I want to make calls for the US people. How do i do that? Is there any service online where i can buy a US number and connect it to my phone?

Get Google voice works globally except you might need to get the APK outside play store or use USA VPN.

At least you get free calls and texts to USA and Canada. Many paid options like Skype give you phone number for almost any country.

Thanks for your help! But for example with skype, can I get my own phone number based in the USA with +1 country code?

Because not only I want to make the calls to the US-based clients, but I also want to have an active USA number where I could receive the calls from my clients as well anytime.

Yes, you can do that and also will need to load Skype credit for calls and texts messages.

I just bought a local US number from skype, but when i try to make a call to my own phone number - it shows that i'm receiving a call from Bulgaria..

So skype seems to be not a good solution, because I want all the people from whom i call to be able to see that i'm from the US, i mean they should see a US-number.

I enabled caller-id with that new number and all other things, but it simply doesn't work with skype.

You should talk to skype support.

Guys, i've purchased number from all websites: vyke, textme, but almost all the people I call to are not responding to me. So i'm wondering maybe these programs don't show my number as US-based so that's why they don't answer me??

I also still have no solution for skype, because when i try calling from skype - it shows not a US number.

Yes i did, but when i make calls from it, lets say to my number, it's showing that a call is not from US, but any other random country, even though my caller id is on. Microsoft support was not able to help me

I can recommend the OpenPhone app, which provides US numbers. However, to be honest, I don't remember which number the recipient will see.
