Hi,
I've searching on how to sell a domain name.

Can anyone have any step by step method or a blueprint for how to sell domains.

Am having my domain clearhunt.com and would like to sell this, i also want black-hatters to suggest the price for which i should expect from this site.

I have registered on sedo.com for selling, but frankly speaking this is my first experience and don't know exactly what to do,

can anyone have methods, help needed brothers. Help me...

I think this also solves the same problem for many noobs.

thanks and regards

i think i just discovered an ebook in members download section of BHW... may be in page 2 or page 1. "domainbie ebook" --- if i'm not wrong.

In order to sell a domain you must promote it, just as if you were selling a CPA offer.

Ways to do this is through after-market sites like Sedo, 4.cn, Afternic.com, etc. That's not the only method you should take though.

Look for similar domains already in use. Cold call/email these webmasters and offer it to them for what you believe it's worth. Tell them why they NEED it.

If it's a good name, it will sell itself. If not so good, it will take time to promote. If you don't have the time, then pay for advertising on the aftermarket sites.

Just a few tips, there are a lot of resources available to you on the internet.

Yes, i have enrolled in sedo and parked my domain, but still am getting 0 views, am confused, and they estimated my domain clearhunt.com between $500 and $999 and i made a fixed price of $395. am stuck now, not knowing what to do.

A domain is only worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it, sorry if I'm missing something here but what exactly does "clear hunt" mean, you have to ask yourself, why will somebody buy this? Is it brandable? Does it have traffic? I'm not sure where Sedo gets $500 dollars from as I think that is asking way over the odds, but they are a good place to sell domains.

If you need step by step guide, you should buy any domain ebook. There are many good ebooks over there. If you are not willing to pay, you could find good domain ebook in member download section

Basically, before selling your domains, you must developed them. People will not buy if they don't have any value. The values that lies on a domain are keyword, traffic, backlink, etc.

After that, you will be more confident to sell yours. People will consider to buy your domain if they have value, even with high price.

Hope it useful

there is a download in the very first page of member download section on it. cheers

Try Bargaindomains.com but you can post there if your site is appraised at valuate.com for $1000.
Also, try forums like dnforums , namepros etc where people might buy it.. Look for facts like CPC, Searches per month to support your offer price.

no ebook can assure you sales; they only give you idea where to hang out. Experience is the key to online domain business success.

I agree with you totally. In addition, good network between domainers are important.
