How to recover gmail without 2nd email

Some clown got into my Gmail and it logged all devices out. Now I won't let me log in until I verify it's my account, but I no longer have access to the linked "outlook" account as it was years ago.

Am I just completed boned here ? Our Google robot overlords leave it up to automated recovery or nothing ?

This gmail had my youtube linked as well. Not a huge deal but kinda sad .

Any advice is appreciated thanks folks

You can contact Google, but there is no guarantee. Just create a new account and protect it.

How do I contact Google?
Of course a new email is an option but there are many accounts for other things linked to this email. Starting over is the last option

the hacker would have removed his phone number, few months back one of my friend 2fa added gmail got hacked, from the suggestion on reddit, he did contacted youtube support on twitter, after submitting the information, it took around a week to regain access the account.
