Youtube Notes: 0 views, shadowban, decreased views

i have been dealing with social media since 2008, having very large pages on Facebook and Instagram, and what I have understood is that at least what people write is not correct.

you have to rely on your own observations and draw conclusions.

So I'll tell you what I noticed from youtube these days.

I started a music channel 2 months ago, I work more with shorts. I have 3500 subs and about 900,000 hours.

My channel has been doing quite well lately. having about 100,000 views in 24 hours. every attempt i made to start a second channel suddenly stopped getting views.

the last 2nd channel that was blocked by copyrights. no strike, the video just stopped being public from there and after that none of my channels got views except the first one. 4 days ago my first channel stopped getting many views suddenly. from 100,000 a day it went to 6,000 a day. it was not a shadowban as the channel was displayed on the subscribers' home page. it simply ceased to exist in the world of shorts. today and indeed now he started to get good views again on the videos which were going well.

what I did was to not post anything on any channel for 3 days,

I deleted all the accounts from chrome, and kept only the email with my big channel.

I can't know if what I did played a role and the channel came back or it would only come back 3 days later.
the point is that the channel is back.

to say that I only post one short a day, this is my strategy so there is no spamming issue

If there is penalty or violation on second channel, it can impact first channel. But just opening a second channel will not have any impact.

not. i have different gmails. but i change account from browser every day to check my views or i upload new video and more

firstly, i have already created a large thread with evidence regarding this problem (you can refer below):

secondly, this a very common issue. the whole of YT's backend is automated by AI (Google deepmind), which is a reinforcement learning based AI system. it self evolves, updates and can find new patterns related to tactics used by spammers.
so there were several recent updates deployed by google, to defend against spam on YT.
so if you try to make multiple channels on the same ip, just to upload similar content and scale, they will flag your channels for spam.


lastly, it could just be general algorithm cycles, where you will have spikes and drops in views. if you have a drop, in due time you will have a spike again. this is just how most social media platforms work.

I'm no expert here but I do pretty well on YouTube and especially with shorts and I can pretty much tell you with certainty that the reason why you started getting views again was not because you deleted any of your channels but it was because YouTube for some reason has control of how many views your channel gets and they just don't like it when you get too many views in a short period of time.
But when it does happen they will stop or slow down your views and you just have to give it time and it will start back up again. This has been my observation Hope I wasn't too unclear.

You should of left it where you admitted you were no expert because you don't even know what you are talking about. YouTube does not hate it when you get too many views that's false. Second, YouTube does not control how many views a channel get. You are just making up bullshit and you know it.

YouTube literally controls how many views a channel gets or else they wouldn't be able to fairly distribute views/money to the large number of creators on the platform.
them controlling views is the most obvious thing that anyone who understands youtube enough should be able to observe.

if they didn't control views you would get unlimited views or a crazy large number of views, which isn't possible because there are a limited number of people available on the platform to consume videos and there are tons of channels uploading content.
everyone needs to get a chance to have their content shown to others, and people also like to have new or different content served to them.
none of these are possible if youtube didn't control the views going to channels.

There's definitely a view cap on shorts, the "caps" that I noticed were at ~450 and ~12k views. When YouTube has enough data on the quality of your content that "caps" seem to go away. Long form content works slightly different, but when you "prove yourself" your videos start getting into suggested/browse feeds allowing you access to a larger audience.

View caps on large channels with a good track record (no copyright infringement, no community guidelines violations) makes absolutely no sense. YouTube is a bussines. The purpose of businesses is to generate revenue. Putting "view caps" on their "cashcows" would go against the core principles of businesses. That's why IShowSpeed got away with showing his genitals on live stream and Sssniperwolf got away with doxing. You do not slaughter your cashcows.

That is why as soon as people do the exploits or marketing of their channel they blow up every time. No I am not talking about buying a few thousand views and claiming it does not work like majority of people who whine on this forum. I am talking about getting 80,000 views minimum and up to trigger the algorithm or getting browse feature views to trigger the algorithm. Also before you claim you cannot manipulate browse feature views, you can. Browse feature views is not just views coming from trending and homepage but it is also views coming from subscription feed and watch later feed.

You and the other guy was insinuating that you are at the mercy of the algorithm which was what I was talking about it. You don't have to depend on the algorithm and you can definitely get the algorithm attention and force it to promote your content. I did it myself and still doing it.

if your channel is suppressed by the algorithm either intentionally or due to some "bug", there's almost no way to break free from that.
in fact on some occasions I've had to contact youtube support or employees to get the shadowban fixed.

i work with private views and engagement methods as well, which can generally help videos get forced into the algorithm and allow it to exceed the performance of competitors, but if the channel itself is suppressed by the algorithm almost nothing can be done, unless you either wait it out and let it fix itself, or contact partner support or a youtube employee, to fix it.

it would be very easy for you to prove it, if you had such a method.
fix the reach of the guy that's throttled here.
if you can fix the reach and increase it with your method then sure.

the fact is, the algorithm controls the views you get, whether you do good or bad content, it still controls your views or else you would get unlimited views.

when there are limited people who are available to watch videos around the globe, and with tons of creators uploading content, there are not unlimited views to be given out.
so from the limited "pie", views have to be fairly distributed to all creators.
in this scenario it's practically impossible to say that there is no "traffic shaping" or "traffic control per channel".
every channel will have to get a controlled amount of traffic when view distribution is a fundamental requirement.
so the algorithm still controls the amount of views a channel gets, and you are at it's mercy.
the tricks or exploits one can utilize, may allow them to get more views than usual, but will only take them so far, and it is not controllable to the extent where you can get any amount of views you want.

Read my case here and maybe then you will understand that view throttling done by the algorithm on YT is absolutely a real thing - despite what some self proclaimed YT gurus out there falsely preach in their videos.

I have asked dozens of gurus, influencers, SEO clerks, promotional experts and YT coaches out there for help explaining the issue at hand. NONE of them could provide me with any help or solution. NONE of these promo techniques, tips, tricks or "improve your content quality, bruh"-methods have helped me break free from the monthly view limit, that is affecting my channel.

Because shadowbans and view throttling are 100% algorithmic issues and therefore can only be "fixed" by someone at YT.

I can GUARANTEE you: if I uploaded my videos (same content, SEO, etc...) on your channel, through your IP/device/Adsense, or on any other user's channel that is not associated with me in any way, they would have gotten 5x-10x more impressions so far. I am willing to test and proof that anytime, if you like.
