TBH I don't remember installing anything like "Quasar Client".
I have seen it's a "Remote Administration Tool for Windows".
Has anyone seen this before? what steps should I take?
I solved this. I found out that "Quasar Remote Administration Tool for Windows" was installed. I had to remove the files by safe-booting. The executable file could only been deleted by safe booting. After deleting the first file and starting the computer normally, The executable file(Quasar Client) was still running on the task manager, Because it was installed in different locations I removed a total of five (Quasar Client) executable files and now the process is removed from auto start up processes/software,
Bruh, time for a fresh install. It's probably still hiding around...After deleting the first file and starting the computer normally, The executable file(Quasar Client) was still running on the task manager, Because it was installed in different locations I removed a total of five (Quasar Client) executable files
The process((Quasar Client) was running on Task Manager Until I removed all 5 Files. Now ((Quasar Client) is not running. But I will backup and re-install OS.Bruh, time for a fresh install. It's probably still hiding around...
After Running This (start > run > appwiz.cpl) I haven't found it. Thanks for the antivirus suggestions I will try the free versions.start > run > appwiz.cpl
does quasar show up there?
you can try antivirus solutions like eset nod32 & kaspersky. these days they have free licenses. see if their definitions will pick up your quasar thing.
