I see your point, but you can choose who to do business with. 3 years on the forum with 1k messages, for examples.


Avoid crypto, or raise your requirement from sellers.
I never once paid here with crypto and I can count on one hand (one finger, actually) the times it prevented me from buying a service that I needed.

in my defense lol last time I got scammed with 400$, I paid that through paypal. But again, never got the money back...
Scammers, when they attack they always think of the way out first, he probably would have sent that money to several more paypal accounts and cashed it out. Paypal on the other hand refuses taking into account most of the services/products offered in this platform so buyer has a very weak case from the start...

But again its better than crypto, atleast you have a fighting chance here

I think it should be taken in mind that many users (including me) can't use PayPal (because it is restricted in my country mainly), Binance (restricted), the only way I have to receive money from my customers is for cryptocurrencies. Will they also tell me a scammer for this?

Many users with whom I have interacted in the forum, given the time of payment I say that I accept bitcoin or USDT, and at the moment the sale falls, which is totally understandable. Then they end up scammed by another user, who does accept their PayPal money.

This is a point that should also be dealt with.

Escrow system?
Volunteers? I don't think it's going to happen. Imagine that a scammer makes an escrow for $10K, first he receives your money and also the product, and then he scams both, so what next?

I also don't think that any member wants to accept this responsibility because he would be in the middle of everything, and he can also be banned for the same thing.

You are right, volunteers must be vetted first... again i think something more tougher to implement.

An escrow service receives the money, but the product is sent directly from the seller to the buyer. Once the buyer confirms, the funds are released to the seller.
Why would the escrow receive the product?

Does a mall have an escrow system?

How about Amazon?

Etsy?

Ebay?

You can always use escrow.com or some other outside entity such as that if escrow is something you desire.

Many other forums have their own escrow services but this forum don't have.
