If a subdomain is newly created and has no external links, then its weight is effectively zero. The fact that the characteristics of the main domain are displayed does not play any role and there will be no benefit from such a page.

Just like name.blogspot.com or whatever. People think because it has Blogspot in the URL, their website will receive the full DA of Blogspot, but yes, its a subdomain which is treated just like a brand new domain, separate from the TLD
