hah. exactly. I am a user. And it is a problem for me. Design makes me hate to open the forum, for various reasons(texts mostly) but all are about my experience using the forum as a user. So this is BAD (U)ser e(X)perience.

The new version of BHW looks good. More friendly to the eye. A good choice.
It is impossible to get everyone to agree and every opinion is respectable. Many of us like the new design and many will not like it. That's life.

Hovering the user shows the profile picture perfectly fine, but they're extremely blurry and low resolution on the actual posts.
Also,
the interface is pretty inconsistent on mobile.
For one,
the titles look odd since they're are padded to another realm.
In the screenshot,
you can see that the title, 'Elite Member' is more left than the username. Looks weird.
There's also a lot of free real estate in terms of space on the mobile.
You could very much fit the join date, post count (, and hopefully the reaction score) to the right side of the card that has the username and avatar.
Perhaps I'm just nitpicking at this point, but the Jr. Executive color, #0F59A3, is a dark blue. Wasn't J. Exec supposed to be light blue?

Personnaly I don't like the colors very much, but being a dark mode user I must confess this color scheme is better for my eyes.

People usually don't like change so I would expect more complaints. I don't mind the new style, but I prefer the Black and Gold dark theme over the new Black and Bronze(?) color. I think using a color from the "goldenrod" family on top of the black would be real nice, Clark, real nice.

I don't know how accurate the AI accessibility scores are but in my case and many others in this thread the new BLACK theme is just not accessible friendly. It's hard to read, small fonts, dull colors, weird contrast. I've perfect vision and I'm feeling so much strain in eyes, imagine people who've slight vision issues, color blindness etc, it'll be a nightmare to navigate through BHW for them.
