Are there ANY SEO packages that actually work?

I think the mere fact that some of these sellers mentioned here use thread designs like lady gaga, or marvel, or any other crap, is a clear indicator of what their business model is and the results one should expect.

I've dumped tens of thousands of dollars on SEO packages from sarkar, samblogs, dexter, and various others only to see very short lived results in low to medium competitive niches.
I'm just wondering if anyone has ever successfully attained rankings that actually stick for longer than 2 weeks from BHW link building purchases?
Are there any link builders out there that don't just load up some terribly garbled excuse for spintaxed english and just fire their automated tool away at massively over-spammed sites and call it "SEO work" ?

All I need is ONE working SEO who actually knows what Google wants (niche relevant backlinks), not these washed up tired methods from 2012 that do NOT work anymore.
Is there someone out there that does competitor backlink analysis at all?
My sites are absolutely SEO optimized and score perfect 100 at gtmetrix yet everytime I purchase backlinks from one of these "gurus" my site will go up for a week or so, then tank lower than it was before never to rise above page 5 of Google ever again.

I'm literally paying these guys to destroy my rankings! They don't care either, they already collected the money. They showed that my rankings improved with their screenshot email upsell attempts a week later before probably deleting all the links they built to clear their spamblogs up for new links.

How many wrongs do I have to go through until I finally find a right... I'm exhausted!
Packages don’t work. SEO is not a one size fits all. It’s not about backlinks. I’ve ranked websites with literally 3 backlinks from the company’s social media page. If you don’t know how to implement SEO, hire an expert. I know it’s easier said than done. I suggest you don’t hire an offshore company. And you don’t need to hire an agency because they don’t know much either. Agencies make money when you spend more. They don’t have your best interest in my opinion.

What does optimized really mean when you get a report? Nothing. To know if a site is optimized you need a person to look at all aspects of what that entails specific to your niche.

I’m happy to look at your site and give me two cents. PM me if interested

This sort of sums it up. These services are preying on people desperate for a "quick fix" to their ranking woes and their comic-book like advertisements reveals the type of customer they are targeting. Could you imagine a corporate marketing department employee asking for some budget and presenting a "Jake Sparrow Package" to their boss? LMAO.

Golden Thread indeed ! Are most of the BST completly garbage is an interesting discussion. Beside, I had a good laugh at @OP who spent money on garbage, wasn't happy so accepted more free garbage in exchange of not getting his money back...

I'm going to resurrect this discusssion as this (and my last paragraph about PPC) have been on my mind heavily the last month or two.
Dude this is an awesome post and I can't agree more ! It's a shame that it's buried deep inside this topic

  1. Easiest way to make progress is through longtail blogging, and it's cheap to do
  2. Next best thing is higher quality guest posts at tier-1
  3. Last thing you should do is send pbn links or niche edits at tier-2
Stable SEO can take 1yr to 3yrs, and you should always be able to see long-term progress from your Google Search Console (GSC) dashboard.
So, you have probably purchased some lower-quality links, but it's hard to tell which links have the biggest impact over a long period of time.
I've seen movements from all kinds of links.

However, you should lessen the amount of lower-quality links you are sending at tier-1, and focus on Guest Posts, instead.
You won't get as many referring domains, but the quality makes things safer and more proprietary.
If you have to spend $300+ on a link, then you know that your average competitor is going to have a harder time meeting you at that level.

You should always drop your link opportunity into either SE Ranking, or Moz, or Ahrefs, and look at the quantity of keywords ranking for that domain.
That's the #1 clue for how Google views the rankability of a website. :o
I wish you well in your continuing SEO efforts, sir! :)

Best to you,

I spent tens of thousands too doing every month SEO packages here on bhw and after reading here I'm more confused than before on what should be done and what I could do with the same budget I spent in the last year

Any seo that is not about real guest posting is a waste of money . Since most sellers want to make money and are not interested in results for customers. If you want good seo do it yourself using guest posts or build your PBNS

That's SEO for you.
Truth is that if you don't know exactly what you are looking for, you will end up getting next to nothing. Buying links at random won't work. You need to know what link is needed.

You have got to master this through experience. And you have got to stay calm and have patience else you would run after the next shining packages...

It's crazy, but I see many competitors in my niche who provide 90% scrapped content(even from my sites), use low-quality backlinks from the same mentioned packages + a few redirects from expired domains and have a higher ranking than me, who has been working consistently for several years with quality content and backlinks. The funny thing is that those pages keep growing even more despite all the Google updates as my links get de-indexed more and more. As e.g. one of the websites grew +~250k results in google search in one week and now has a total of almost 1 million indexed pages, while I've only had ~80k at the peak

While I've spent thousands on press releases, etc., competitors spent(based on backlinks) $200-500 in total

It all drives me crazy. There is no logic to this and no one seems to have an answer. It seems like the best way to do something is to just create a lot of different websites, spam as many as possible and maybe you'll get lucky.

There is a lot of magical thinking on this thread.

Why would you just go out and spend thousands of dollars on anything without research? Do you buy a car that way, or a house? Something tells me yes, for some of you.

Research. Do experiments. If your hypothesis fails, test out another one. Don't they teach the scientific method in schools anymore?

The problem is that studying the GS algorithm can take years due to its slow response to changes and a lot of work without reward. On top of all that, experiments have different effects in different niches, different languages, etc. This is a very big investment with no guarantee of reward.
After all, sometimes you don't even fully understand which decisions have a positive or negative impact.

I agree with you 100%. But what you said can be applied to any business. You still have to be methodical about it, not just purchasing random packages and hoping for the best (like the OP did a few years ago, I know this is an old thread).

A lot of the mistakes I see on this forum could be prevented with simple procedures and business planning. I am thinking of writing a business-oriented guide for people here.

I never outsource... It's not for me. I've only outsourced for content writers because I'm not an English-speaking writer, and I've never had any luck with it.
So back in the day i used scraped content from various tools from wicked article creator to kontemt machine, then spimmers and now AI which is perfect.

Why don't you automate your SEO? I don't accept niche-relevant backlinks. You don't need backlinks from niche-relevant sites; instead, you want content-relevant backlinks. Who said tiered link building isn't working anymore? It's working better than ever before. Just try it yourself instead of making statements here. All my sites are built on scraped content, now using AI, and I build links with various SEO tools like GSA SER, Ranker X, etc. It works well, and Google now gives even more instant positive reactions to it, thanks to Google's speedy indexing.

Most fail because they use duplicate content for each backlink, and they never care about brandable anchor texts. I don't think buying links from someone is a good idea. Why not automate it yourself? It only takes a few days to automate, and it's almost set and forget.

Most strategies work if you know what you're doing. You can do 100 percent competition analysis instead of trying to check SERPs and deciding if the niche is suitable for your strategy. You've been making the same mistake for years and now asking the best provider to do it, even though it's a big mistake .

My opinion is to grab all the resources and try it yourself. Most failures are due to outsourcing. If anyone knows how to do SEO, why would they sell it to someone else when they can earn more than that?

I own a site which I built with scraped content, and it's purely garbage, but the link building profile is clean and looks slick (no silly so-called niche edits and PBNs), just contextual tiered link building using various tools, but a very clean drip-feeding campaign, and it's still in the top 10, and with the latest updates, it's even improved.

In conclusion, never ever outsource. Just do it yourself.

If you think buying links means you did SEO, then better you stop doing SEO.

Agreed with this. Niche edits / PBNs are overrated and i am not sure why everyone here think para site seo , tiered link building is dead lol.

Good old LinkedIn articles are still killing it and easy. Parasites do still work. Good stuff.

I can give you more than one example where the site has endless backlinks with "website", "click here", "link" anchor texts or something else, which has nothing to do with the content, but outranks the pages that have the profile you described.
When you check their backlinks, you see nothing more than redirects from expired domains, articles with a 100 attached links, a random blospot.com comment among dozens of random others.

Like: https://toptohigh.com/a-successful-internet-marketing-network-why-you-absolutely-must-have-one/
And I see endless copies of such pages. Here is just a small list: https://toptohigh.com/guest-post-add-my-site/

Also many -k.html backlinks from hacked sites.

And it all works for some reason. Sometimes it seems that the frequency of getting backlinks is more important than their quality.

Like this one: https://imgur.com/a/FGqqmJr
Has almost 1 million indexed links in Google search and growing even more after updates.
