Society has defiantly changed and I believe the Internet is a HUGE reason for it.

I still prefer to do business the old fashion way and that's face-to-face.

It just seems to be more efficient because there was a time when it was possible to go from A to Z in what these days seems to barely be from A to B.

And we covered that ground without endless zoom calls, looking at dozens of linkedin pages, wasting money on mediocre freelancers, etc.. etc.. etc..

Plus we made a lot more money with a lot less work.

We film a lot of under 25 year olds and in the last 10 years I've watched the young go from arrogant snots to emotionally weak.

Now they appear to have changed again and they're simply angry at everyone and everything.
They not only tell everyone to shut up but they're screaming for censorship.

How in the world do you make money from people like that? Sell them Prozac? Or should we pioneer a new genre of violet porn?

I fully agree with you, also back in the days there were some "honor amongst thieves" or whatever you want to call it, there were certain rules in real life and on the internet that were unwritten but that everyone knew.
We also shared our experiences and ways of making money in another way because there were less people on the internet and there were less people out there looking to make a quick buck.
For an example you wouldn't rob or do someone dirty that didn't have it coming, but nowadays it happens without any reason because the generations after mine don't give one shit about those sort of things.

Internet culture as a whole today if you compare it to ten years ago, everyone is offended by the shit you spew. Although i really don't give a shit since it's their problem that they're offended it still gets you into trouble. You have to watch every word you spew, not like back in the days when someone would take 1 hour to write a long story about how they needed help with something and the first response would be "cool story bro", still the author would just disregard those comments.

Also if you needed information or to ask someone questions about a specific subject, everyone was pretty much open to answer. Not telling exactly what they were doing to make money, but very helpful in terms of where to start looking, and how to get where they were.
Nowadays everyone seems to sit on information like it's worth more than their life, try asking for some guidance and they will just ignore or block you.

Here's a true story.
I got cut off on the road and it was almost a serious accident. So I yelled out "fucking asshole" and the guy who cut me off pulled over and called the cops.

The tires and rims on my car were scrapped to hell because I made contact with the curb. He even admitted to the cop that he cut me off but I GOT INTO SHIT!

That's the fucking world that the Internet has created.

It's bad enough that we have to deal with this bullshit in the real world. However, on the Internet these angry idiots can kiss my ass. Real Life is eventually going to brutally destroy anyone who freaks out over words on a computer screen.

It is now very difficult to manage the new generation of young people. You have to remind them who's boss.

Can't do much about things out of your control like the society.

Personally I always try my best adapt to these changes.
