Hello, 10 days ago I started a YouTube channel, where I only post shorts. The channel is a few months old, it is not a fresh one.
I post 1-2 short videos a day.
In the first 7 days everything went perfectly, the channel started to grow from all points of view (I have attached the picture).
Exactly after 7 days everything died, youtube no longer sends my videos in the feed. It's already the 3rd day when I barely get 100 views in total. The new videos barely got 5-6 views.
I specify that I have very good statistics on videos and retention is above average.
However, I still post, even if I'm very demotivated...I keep thinking that's how the YouTube algorithm works, it probably checks if the views were real or "fake".
Also, in the first 7 days, the first videos appeared in Shorts to my subscribers, but now it doesn't appear anymore.
I want to know if you encountered this problem and what you did in this situation? Did you keep posting? Is everything back to normal?

Yes this is normal. Tiktok does the same thing the platform will send some test traffic to your content and see how it preforms. If your content gets engagement and good retention they will keep sending you views. if your content does not prefrom well they will stop recommending/showing it. They will test your content again in a month, maybe longer maybe shorter.

That's not normal, you got hit, somehow. Are you using AI maybe? Voice over? Also don't tick the "Publish to Subscribers feed ..." thing.

it depends some people will start fresh with a new account until one of their videos goes "viral" and gets a lot of traffic then once a video gets a lot of traffic they start using that account as their main account deleting all other accounts that get stuck in this no view zone.

Some users push through this and keep making videos.

I don't use, it's about sports moments.
I tested and ticked the "Publish to Subscribers feed ..." thing and without in this 3 days but unfortunately the same result.
The videos are edited, of course, they contain emoji, text, audio effects, music to attract viewers to watch until the end.
Nothing copy-paste.

I informed myself very well before starting this channel... but still it seems very strange to me what is happening...

That's the king format example:

The secret is simple: upload content to YouTube you would wanna see in 20 years, 10 years or even 5 years.

If you upload very day then that's what your content was last week old news.

There's a reason people watch the history channel, or nostalgia, but how do you captivate a new topic as something someone would watch for 10 years? You can't unless you're likable, watchable.

Consistency works but after 1000 subs the money can range from ,0.5cents to $5 a week, varies.


The short format example is little tricky, but id use it like any other business to draw customers to you main channel, it's tricky to bridge a short format into a long when that's entirely the goal.

Update:
I continued to post, yesterday I had a bump for a few hours, around 5,500 views, after which it dropped again.
The strange thing is that no new video is increasing, all the old videos received this number of views.
This youtube algorithm is very weird.

You need to be more patient with youtube now. It is already very crowded with so many creators and thus time is needed in getting noticed.

I think it was a niche yes. Before It was related to Crime and other stuff. Now its mostly about Geography, politics, social issues, facts and so on...

About the AI voice; Not really, but we've seen that YouTube has started to take some actions regarding AI stuff. Creators now have to label their videos if the video has been Altered with AI or not.

YouTube Shorts uses a two-phase algorithm: Explore and Exploit. In the Explore phase (your first 7 days), your Shorts are shown to a wider audience to see if they resonate. High initial engagement helps you pass this phase.

Update:

The last 3 days the views started to increase again, only for the videos posted in the last 3 days.
I have other videos that still only have 10-15 views, but still YouTube hasn't given me a push on them yet.
Another idea is that youtube only gives me push for 3-4 hours daily, even if I have very good statistics on videos.
The videos are watched until the end and more than 75% watch the video, but still YouTube doesn't give me more push.
Do you have any explanations? It is normal? Will it give me a push for videos with a few views in the future?
