How to deal with youtube cannibalism?

After publishing a new video on YouTube, the previous video stops getting views​

It's like my previous video is killed by the new one. In this case, when should I post a new video? I like to post a new video each 2 days, however, it seems that I'm killing my own growth

try to create more videos and follow your schedule if you have a new channel

Just keep posting videos. You want volume more than you want views on a per video basis. The views will come, just upload

Same thing happens to my channel. I just keep uploading new videos after getting few thousands views on the old one and I made 3.9k last month. The thing is, even if you don't upload new one, the old ones will stop getting views after like 48hours, my advise is you should forget about old videos not getting views, just upload new videos every 24hours and use end screen to boost old video

Exactly, just keep uploading new content and make sure to have a particular time you're uploading the videos
