Now meta owned Threads has announced that it will pay good creators upto $5000 for activity on threads. Can this be game changing step for threads platform?

Yes, it is a changing step because of the honey. But it won't kill an already established social graph like Twitter. What will kill Twitter is legalities or hacks. Other than that, it will survive.

It'll definitely attract more activity towards Threads but most people on Twitter aren't there because of money.

Twitter is a more 'fun' place and it's easier to go viral there by doing something stupid or controversial than elsewhere.

You are very correct. This money thing ja to attract big guys with followers on other platforms. When they come to threads, there followers will also come on threads.

Yes, it is to bring big guys over to threads but no, there's nothing in it for the followers so followers won't blindly follow. Unless, all their content would be exclusively posted on Threads.

Money drives everything.. so yes, it will make an impact. Creators will join and attract their followers too for the money.

But it this money enough for creators in countries like USA? In countries like India, I already see big creators joining threads now in hope of these funds.
