Many of people on forum and also my clients are asking:
-why I have only 1000 views
-why I have only 200 views
-my friends have millions of views I have only 5000 views
-other videos have millions of views, why my videos have only 800 views

---------------------------
TIKTOK IS NOT MAGIC PLATFORM TO GIVE EVERYONE 1 MLN+ VIEWS
--------------------------
Reallity:
1. You are pushing 100 videos
2. Most of time you have 600-800 views
3. Suddenly, magic, lucky day. You have viral video with 1 mln views
4. Other videos are boosted too and getting 25k-50k views from profile visitors and TikTok algo boost

This is how TikTok works in real life, not BHW imagination

yep just gotta keep posting and hope your post goes viral.

Yeah, but I am surprised many many times. Someone ask me why he have 1000 views. I am asking how many video he uploaded and how many accounts.
1 account, 1 video is the most common answer.

Persistence is key when it comes to TT
Not at all, luck is key.
You can make 100 accounts with 5 videos on them, then get many virals on these mini accounts.
You can make 1 account with 100 videos and not get viral, but everything with your set up is correct.
TikTok is luck game, so also game of numbers to reduce luck factor.

If you don't create a content with above-average quality, don't expect above-average results

I guess if you keep doing it and post thousands of videos sooner or later the algorithm will pick you up right ?
This is harder, because TikTok is also categorizing accounts.

If you don't create a content with above-average quality, don't expect above-average results
This is stupid answer, no offence. What is high quality?
Everyone is speaking about high quality, but you can record random crap and it will get viral because algo like it at this moment.
Same in SEO, Youtube, everything else. Everyone on BHW is telling about high quality but nobody can define what's that.
4K video? Every phone is recording in 4K ;)

High quality = ride the current trend.
It has nothing to do with video quality, but content quality. Think, if everyone is searching for Tate brothers and you have content about car tyres no one will care.
Still, following the above example,if you have content about car tyres is still good because someone might be interested, in real world people have issues with or questions about .. car tyres!
However, there are gazillions of resources about car tyres, so if you don't stand out and your content is very similar to niche average, there's no way to go viral.
Going above niche average is the key. This can be achieved in two ways, either via catchy visuals or via good story telling ... or both.
Note that I'm not discussing TikTok videos or YouTube or blogs. Any type of quality content has the same attributes.

High-quality definition in this context: something that matches what the algorithm needs.
Their algo wants people to stay on TikTok as much as possible.

How do they do that?
Giving more room to high-quality videos. These videos have:

- high retention rates; receive lots of comments, shares, likes, and other engagement stats.

For example:

- if an average video needs 200 views to receive a comment. Then, a high-quality video needs only 50 views to receive a comment.
- if an average video needs 100 views to receive a like. Then, a high-quality video needs only 40 views to receive a like.
- If an average video gives you 5 new followers, a high-quality video will give you 20.

I don't care if those videos are ''crap''; the only thing that matters here are numbers and stats. The algorithm will compare and determine if your video is above average or not.

There is nothing subjective here; lots of 17-year-old girls dancing have already understood better what high-quality content is. Obviously, not about 4K or 8K videos; we are talking about retaining the audience, making them interact with your videos, and consuming as much as possible.

As I said, anyone creating something supposedly high-quality stuff that only the creator recognize as a masterpiece will be destroyed by teenager dancers that have solid real stats.

That's so true and same for other platform, many won't blow and one will blow and start the exponential growth

Let's be honest, the situation before 2023 was not like this. Even shit videos used to get viral, by viral I meant (10k views atleast) atleast is the keyword here

What can you say about accounts that have huge traffic right away on the first video? Maybe it’s well-prepared accounts, or is it just luck?

People solely rely to TT for views is mistake number 1.

You should use the best possible thumbnail and super engaging video content, entirely, not only hooks.

So OP was obviously frustrated while creating this thread :D

Even if everything is about luck, you don't have to be a part of it. Do your best, scale your skills.

It's not everything in views. If you learn to make engaging content, it pays off sooner or later. Super common sense.
