So I started out as I noticed that there was no good semi-manual solution for finding blogs to comment on so I wrote a simple scraper and gave it away, then I added more functionality to store comment profiles for easy posting. Remember, this was 2009.

After that I realised something really interesting could be done if the process were automated, this became No Hands SEO. People wanted a proxy solution without having to pay for proxies, so I wrote a proxies scraper. I forgot to mention the indexer and pinging solutions I also built to aid NHSEO.

A few years down the line I noticed that there was no really good domain scraping solution so I built one and added gob loads of functionality as time went. Customer for Domain Hunter Gatherer wanted a solution to make recovering old website content more automatedly, so I made DomRecovery and so on.

Basically, I do some work and when I find a problem with no good solution, I create that solution. Do you have much experience in developing or releasing products?

There are lots of places you can promote. Forums and Reddit for a start, but don't be spammy or you'll just be labelled as a spammer.

As PHPInjected said, you can apply for a marketplace thread here. They used to be an almost guarantee of success but the competition is so high as it is so cheap and easy to get listed here, however, the cost to get listed here is minimal so you definitely should. Other forums' marketplace sections are completely dead, unless you are very well known on those forums already. I used to advertise on a bunch of forums but they've all fallen tbh, I wouldn't bother paying for a marketplace thread on other websites.
