So yesterday, I sold a digital product to another person through Payhip platform and I kept in touch with him to assist him on how to use the script.
My payhip account was connected to my paypal so I got the money instantly but it was on hold, I checked paypal and they said they're not the one keeping it held.
Eventually we had the script working and the buyer was satisfied, and after a while I went to check my payhip account, first thing I was disconnected and when tried to connect they say wrong credentials (obviously not wrong), I tried to reset the password but no email was sent to me, last I checked the digital product page and I didn't find the product!
I immedialty accessed my paypal account and the money was refunded!
I contacted the buyer he said that he got the refund on hold but he didn't ask for it, and thankfully he was a good guy to send the money back again
but imagine this guy is a random evil man the internet, my money would go in a blink of an eye and no one on earth can help me get it back!
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM!
note: my only experience on that platform is with digital products, I don't know about other products, but the fact that they can do this with no warnings and no accountability should be a red flag for all sellers
