Journey to $100k as an AI Influencer

Have you or anyone experienced this issue with a sudden decrease in reach? After I hit 1000 followers with my ai model, my reach suddenly dropped in all posts and stories; consequently, the engagement has also dropped. I've been posting pretty consistently too (3 times / day) along with having collaborators. Follower growth has also been slow at like maybe 5 net new followers a day after unfollows.

Is there a way to fix this? If it helps I used to have a direct link to my Patreon, but replaced it with a Linktree after hearing that is not recommended. My account status is good too with everything having a green checkmark. What could be the cause of this?

The same thing happened to me. As soon as I hit a nice amount of followers (800-1000) the organic reach on Instagram (Explore page) and the reach on the feed plummeted. Weird.

I'll just keep posting consistently, at least twice a day; and I'll try making my own reels too and see how that works out. Currently, my post engagement on average is like 80-130 after 24hrs, at about 1100 followers. So like 10% ish. Story reach is usually at least 100 after 24hrs. Follower growth has been quite slow though, getting maybe 5-10 organic follows a day, idk how some guys are getting a couple hundred a day organically.

Update:

Let's make some progress towards $50k!!

This update is for 4/15-4/21.

This past week was a bit better than last week, totaling up to $1,746 of income. We'll round down and call it $1.7k. Really good week for income, it was driven again, surprise surprise, by PPV. I intend to put out some big PPV sets this week, so hopefully have an even better week next week!

Income so far: $42.1k/$100k

Doing some work on Reddit, but haven't put enough time into it to see real good results. Hopefully will have a better update on that next week.

How many Instagram followers do you have-ish? I have managed to amass 200 followers since making my account a few days ago, which I am pleased with as all white hat. Of course I have noticed some trash accounts follow me, but I have had some genuine dudes follow and show interest.

I'm just curious on the different levels, as I have seen some AI Model account on Insta with thousands of followers, but can clearly see they're not that engaged with their posts (dead accounts), therefore lower/no income. Additionally, a lot of my followers have appeared from India - great to boost the engagement, but not really he demographic for paying subscriptions.

In your Instagram bio, what do you say to mention you're AI? I've not mentioned it on my Insta, but have on Fanvue.

Long shot - this King of AI you speak of that you used for promotional posts - are you able to share the accounts so we can also discuss promotions?

Since starting, I've noticed sooooo many AI accounts floating about, so I'm hoping to break through that wall and get an increase of genuine followers, I still have my doubts though.

I haven't done Patreon but I have done Fanvue, which one of my followers I actually spoke to signed up. So really, nothing organic yet, which is the ultimate goal. I'll set up a Patreon down the line if I do get a boost in natural engagement with people who will likely sign up for a subscription. I have had a lot of Indian followers the last day or so, which is great as they boost the numbers and engagement, but I don't think paying for such things is in Indian culture.

I do also have thoughts (maybe even concerns) that getting a heavy Indian following might deter some of the Western followers who are more likely to throw their money away on such things. Any thoughts on that would be welcomed!

I mixed around $10-$20/day for about 2 months or so. The ads were only posts.

No, you need at least 6GB as an absolute minimum. You need to use a cloud provider.

Had a great week! PPV really popped off and I walked away with $2,411. Going to push hard this week as well, but that will be a hard total to match. With $50k being so close, I've been really motivated and putting a lot of time in. If I can keep this up, I might even get there by the end of May.

Thanks for following along, sorry these updates aren't too detailed, there's really not too much to say sadly. Something to add though, I am considering starting an OF agency out of this too since I obviously have the idea down and it would be interesting to see how well it translates with being able to do reels and livestreams. I'll be sure to update if I go that route and I'd track any of those earnings separately.
