Any tips/ideas for Chess eBooks niche?

I have a website which offers chess eBooks. It's almost exactly 1 year old and averages around 50 visits/day. I am currently trying to target my keyword with a blog under the same domain.
Also I have made promotional videos on social media which have done okay. I haven't really gotten into SEO up until recently since this is my first website, but I made sure to get the fundamentals done.
Is this blog thing a good idea (first month 50 visitors total )? Any suggestions, tips or ideas? Any help is appreciated. thanks

Yes , It is a good one but make sure you do proper keyword Research , continue to post new blogs and promote them , Consistency is the key and also make sure your blogs are with Good Quality

Thanks. What do you suggest for keyword research? I used the Ahrefs Free Keyword Generator and found a keyword with Difficulty Easy and Volume >100 that fits my website. Should I look for something better or is this fine already?

add amazon affiliaite, and a chess masters book, and put a review up. Pick the most prevalent and best selling book, and make that your target for a long article, try and buy a copy or download a previous edition of it.

I have an affiliate site that sells a book through, and its subject related, and I only sometimes get sale for it, most of my sales come from other amazon random items they buy through the link. You never know if amazon chess buyers are a hungry shopping lot, you should find that out! lol
