Hi Guys,

Just wanted to check if any new accounts have been activated in India since last 3 months?

full

I have been waiting for last 10 days, contacted support and they have no idea. Just asking me to wait.

All documents are in place.

Any idea what's going on?

People from INDIA having problems with Stripe Accounts Activation. An friend of mine from apply from it around 4-5 months back he havenot any back even till now the application has been under the waiting period for more than 140+ days now. Nowhere has stripe mentioned approx time it might take for the approval, even the customer support says they are working on it but cannot give a timeline. I am pretty sure that they are in some trouble with the RBI and do not have all the required permission to onboard new customers or something like that.

Yes, It seems they have some problems going on with RBI.

Also, what are your suggestions for collecting international payments apart from PayPal.

Certainly

Would you please tell me what your requirement to receiving payment from the gateway according to that I’ll suggest something

Collecting payments from clients, Stripe is a good option. Paddle is also an option, but the fees is almost 6%.

You can use this alternative stripe

• Stax
• Square
• Adyen

For payment card processing and more

Square looks to be a good option, have you tried it?

There are very few reliable options when it comes to payments. If you can't accept crypto, then you can try Razorpay and Paytm.

Razorpay is more focused for Indian payments, for international payments there is again PayPal integration. PayTM is not doing international payments.

Well if you still not satisfied with those i have sent above then you must check these out rest mentioned below,

• Instamojo
• Payoneer
• PayU
• DirectPay
• Citrus
• CC Avenue

These merchants are literally every other importer/exporter using in India for international gateway services

Thanks!

Stripe is unavailable in India, bhaijan :)
From what I know, I would use - depending on the Business Model - PayPal Business or, of course, Perfect Money (try to avoid), Razorpay, PayU, and Paytm.
Those are the Gateways I would recommend. Perfect Money is easy to implement and offers many opportunities, but it still has a slightly shady side.

Edit: I declare Perfect Money "shady" because it promotes many high-risk partners, ignores regulations, and charges a lot of money to convert.
If you are doing white Business - try to avoid them, in my humble opinion.

Kind regards,
zotix
