Just got xrumer! - downloaded manual... Need Beer!

Well, I finally did it, went and grabbed xrumer.

Now all I have to do is sit and read the manual I printed out 3 or 4 times (seriously, I am a bit sad like that... the more powerful the tool, the longer I spend reading before I play... )

I mean, I know the methods I wanna just, profile, post without links then revisit etc, but man, this program looks configuable to hell and back - wicked

So, off to grab a beer and start the reading - Wish me luck guys! (or tell me to piss off if you think I am being a twat for posting here! LoL)

Xrumer is a tool used to help gain backlinks from forums, blogs, profiles, wikis, etc. Currently there is not a linkbacking tool on market that is as powerful as xrumer.

Guys, cheers for all the encouragement!

As for the guy asking what the big deal is, for me its kinda reading the manual. I think it was written in Russian, then translated into English - it DOES make sense, kinda!

The trouble I am having is, it seems to explain what each componant part does individually, which is cool, but I think I may need to have a play with some throw away .info's or crappy web 2.0 sites before I start using it for real, lol.

Question for you xrumer users out there (not just guys doing profile links, but 'real' users) -

Do you guys know what every single setting in this tool does? Do you use them all frequently, or do you find soem are pretty much set and forget? (am thinking of more advanced config stuff).

Basically, I am about half way through the 75 or so pages, and although I am going to finish it, I am pretty sure I wont be able to hold the knowledge of what every setting does in my head LoLz!

I am a bit of a control freak sometimes, I normally like to get a tool and test it to destruction before I use it properly, so that I know the ins and outs of iit - however xrumer seems a bit too 'envolved' for that, LoL.

So you xrumer gods and goddesses (we have any of those here? Goddesses?) - do you guys really know what every setting does off the top of ya head?

Yer, ya right mate, it is more than a 'one beer' type manual... It takes at least a couple to stop noticing the translation issues, LoL

I keep seeing in the manual that xrumer is multi 'treading'... LoL ( I supoze it does stomp all over phpbb etc, LoL)

I do! - not too many mind, just enough to not get stressed about the bad translations, LoLz.

I found a few other ebooks that are pretty good too, so using a combination of the manual, and said ebooks - and testing things on some crappy 2.0 sites.

I am thinking of getting a VPN setup tho, in case proxies fail etc.
